The Electrically Fused Magnesia (EFM) plant makes a super-strong material by melting high-quality magnesia raw material in special electric furnaces at extremely high temperatures—over 2800℃!The Production Advantage is simple: The intense heat creates a product with extra-large, tightly packed crystals, which are far tougher than normal magnesia. This material can handle extreme heat without melting (called refractoriness), won’t deform under stress, and is highly resistant to corrosive chemicals and molten metal. This makes it perfect for building the toughest inner linings of industrial furnaces (like those used for steel and cement), ensuring the equipment lasts much longer and performs better.
